Scott Denton has served on staff at Bear Creek Church since 1998, leading our Sports Ministry with a heart for evangelism and a passion for connecting people to the Gospel through sports and recreation. A Houston-area native, Scott completed his undergraduate studies at Houston Baptist University and earned a master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He began his ministry in 1987 as a student pastor, faithfully serving in several churches before joining the Bear Creek team. Scott is gifted in evangelism and finds great joy in sharing God’s Word with others. He and his wife, Becky, have two children and four wonderful grandchildren who bring them great joy.
