Garrett Sims has been in ministry since 2014 and joined the Bear Creek Student Ministry team in 2022 before becoming Connection Minister in 2026. Garrett’s heart for people makes him a perfect fit for this role as he helps individuals and families find their place at Bear Creek.

Garrett and his wife, Allison—his best friend and ministry partner—love serving together and walking alongside students and their families. They are raising three amazing kids: Jordan, Addy, and Kinley. Garrett enjoys sports, the outdoors, and time with his family, and he lives by the promise of Ephesians 3:20: that God can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.
