Too many people go through life thinking that they will finally be happy, content, or fulfilled when they achieve a certain milestone or reach a specific goal. “When I get that job” or “when I get married or have kids” or “when I can buy that house” or “take that vacation.” The apostle Paul, in his letter to the followers of Jesus in Ephesus, sees it differently. He reminds them that they are “blessed with every spiritual blessing,” meaning that God had already given them everything they needed to thrive. Don’t wait for some unknown time in the future—you are blessed right now.
