Lord's Supper

Lord's Supper

Date & Time: July 12 at 8:20am, 9:30am, 11:00am
Category: Adults

The Lord's Supper is observed in a Communion Service in remembrance of Him as a testimony to His death for our sins until He comes again.
(I Corinthians 11:23-26; Matthew 28:18-20)

This sacred ordinance was  given to believers by Jesus  to remember His sacrifice and to symbolize the new covenant. Believers are those who have chosen for themselves to believe in their hearts and confess with their mouth—a public profession that includes baptism by immersion—Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The elements of bread and juice are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood. The Lord's Supper is not a way to  salvation or required for salvation. Rather, it is a testament of a believer’s faith. It is a time of self-examination to confess sin and recommit oneself to following Christ.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you are invited to take the Lord's Supper. If you do not consider Christ to be your Savior, you are welcome to join us, but ask that you not observe the Lord's Supper as the Scripture teaches.
