Iván García

El Pastor Iván García nació en Santa Clara, Cuba, bajo el régimen comunista. Él puso su fe en Cristo cuando era un adolescente y en 2003 se graduó del Seminario Teológico  Bautista en la Habana, Cuba. Luego en el 2007 se acreditó como Lic. en Teología en el Seminario Teológico Bautista "Luis Manuel Gonzáles Peña" en Santa Clara. Trabajó como pastor en Matanzas, la Habana y Mayabeque, Cuba. Recientemente  sirvió como Pastor en Español y miembro del equipo de liderazgo de la Iglesia Bautista Travis Avenue en Fort Worth, Texas. Actualmente  se encuentra cursando una maestría en el Seminario Teológico de Dallas. Él y su esposa Yanexy celebraron su vigésimo aniversario de bodas este año y tienen dos hijas y un hijo: Lauren, Leidi y Jacob.

Pastor Iván García was born in Santa Clara, Cuba, under the communist regime. He put his faith in Christ when he was a teenager and in 2003 he graduated from Baptist Theological Seminary in Havana, Cuba. Then in 2007 he was accredited as a Licentiate in Theology at the "Luis Manuel Gonzáles Peña" Baptist Theological Seminary in Santa Clara. He worked as a pastor in Matanzas, Havana and Mayabeque, Cuba. He most recently served as Pastor in Spanish and a member of the leadership team for Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He is currently pursuing a master's degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife Yanexy celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year and have two daughters and a son: Lauren, Leidi and Jacob.
