Austin Hawkins

Austin grew up in North Texas and felt called to ministry at the age of 14. He began serving in whatever way he could with his church’s student ministry throughout high school. Then he stepped into his first church staff role while a freshman and served at that church throughout his time in college. Shortly after graduating, Austin married his wife Brittney in 2016, and they welcomed their first child, Nathan, in April 2021. Austin graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2021 and joined the staff at Bear Creek in March of 2022. Austin is thankful to serve at a church that desires to reach all people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Austin creció en el norte de Texas y se sintió llamado al ministerio a la edad de 14 años. Comenzó a servir de cualquier manera que pudo con el ministerio estudiantil durante la escuela secundaria. Asumió su primer puesto en el personal de la iglesia cuando era estudiante de primer año. Sirvió en esa iglesia durante todo el año en su tiempo en la universidad. Poco después de graduarse, Austin se casó con su esposa Brittney en 2016 y le dieron la bienvenida a su primer hijo, Nathan, en abril de 2021.
