In Ephesians 5:16, Paul encourages believers in King Jesus to “make the most of every opportunity”. What does this mean exactly? It means that we should be intentional with our time each day and look for opportunities to speak of Jesus wherever and with whomever we come into contact with. In a restaurant? Yes. At the Astros game? Yes. On vacation with our family? Yes.
When we make the most of every opportunity, we’re putting our day before the Lord and asking Him to put people in our path who need the hope that only He can bring. In doing this, we bring Him glory! We only get 24 hours. How will you be intentional and make the most of your 24 hours of opportunity today?
