I am reminded that it is the thousands of little commitments we make each day that make the difference of walking with God and being cognizant of Him, not just the occasional, BIG ones. The abundant life from God is fullness of joy, recognizing and joining Him where he is at work. My most important work is to seek Him.
My daily goals and desires continually need to be what God wants to accomplish through me so that I can experience His presence. More of Him will take care of anything else I think I need.
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Matthew 6:25-26 (NIV)
