Perhaps more often than usual, these days seem to stretch our reserves of strength to the limit. Each day we use it all up; the next day we find more. But God has perfectly measured his supply of grace to us for each and every day. He commanded Moses to sing over his people this promise: “As your days, so shall your strength be” (Deuteronomy 33:25).
God provides the right amount so that our needs are met and that we glorify him for all he has done for us. Never so little that he leaves us wanting. Never so much that we can forget the source of our life and strength. Whatever you face today, know that God already knows the strength you need for it and he has already determined with delight to deliver just what you need to keep your heart anchored to him.
