A Word of Encouragement from Candy McLaughlin, Connection Ministry Director
"So much easier to see His hand at work when you are looking for the blessing you know He will provide." This was shared by one of my friends who is part of a group of 6 women who met over 30 years ago as young marrieds at church. This week was the 2 year mark for one of us being diagnosed with breast cancer and she was reminding us of God's hand all over her journey. Our friend has used it as a platform and a way to show God's grace and perfect timing. She has even started a support group, OneHope, at her church, bringing God’s hope to people touched by cancer and chronic illness.
My prayer for each of us today is to be expecting the blessing God will bring in the midst of our storm! “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…” Psalm 46:1-2
