Word of Encouragement from Lauren Hamlin, Preschool Ministry Parent
The main thing that the Lord has shaped me with, in this season, is the placement of my mind. He has grown me to be more and more aware of my thoughts, as well as things I dwell on or my reactions to things.
I read a quotation from pastor Chuck Swindoll awhile back that I try to also keep in mind. An excerpt of it states, "I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it." He was describing having a heart of thanksgiving in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
