Word of Encouragement from Krista McBroom, Student Ministry Director
What is the size of your faith right now? As I sat down to spend time with God two weeks ago, I begged Him to speak to me. The last week has been challenging and the last couple of days have felt silent. So I really just needed some encouragement from God. Well, my study I’m doing took me right to Matthew 17:20 “He replied, 'Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'” I was reminded to not let unbelief and second-guessing God’s promises water down my faith and cause me to doubt God’s character and give in to fear. The last few days that is exactly where I had been, second-guessing God’s promises and doubting His character. So, God gently whispered that morning go back to that mustard seed faith and watch Me move mountains for you.
Have mustard seed faith today and allow God to grow it into what He wants.
