Word of Encouragement from Candy McLaughlin, Connection Ministry Director
My husband and I were able to participate in one of our favorite gatherings for the first time in a year since COVID restrictions were enacted. We had an amazing time and sent pics to family and friends sharing our joy. What hit me as we got home last night was that I don't think I thanked God once for the experience. I know I talked about being thankful but I didn't stop and tell God how good He is or that I was thankful for His hand in the situation. BIG oops. I had complained to Him plenty about what I couldn't do this past year.
I need to do better and Psalm 34:1 is a good reminder: "I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."
