May 21, 2020
Bear Creek plans for a careful, wise, phased regathering beginning on Sunday, June, 7, 2020. We will not resume in-person gathering of our adult Grow Groups (or other age-group ministries) on that day, but we will continue to provide online resources to encourage and equip you for this unique season of discipleship.
Tune in to our next two upcoming episodes of Virtual Grow Group for conversations about two of the most encouraging, joy-filled, and practical sections in Philippians and for our exciting upcoming plans for Virtual Grow Group and our Grow Group Zoom Gatherings!
Conversation of the Week:
All countries and cultures celebrate those who most deeply embody the values of their society, especially at the greatest cost to themselves. That’s why we celebrate a holiday like Memorial Day. As citizens of Christ's kingdom, whose examples are we celebrating and imitating as a model for us of self-sacrificing love in service to others in these days? What sacrifices are we called on to make these days to lay down our lives and our rights for the sake of others?
Resources of the Week:
Bear Creek provides a subscription to a massive video library of online Bible studies, relationship seminars, and other resources for personal spiritual growth. And this week, we've launched a new "channel" that curates the best content they have to offer for Bible studies, dealing with the stresses caused by living during a pandemic, marriage enrichment, parenting help, kids' Bible lessons and music, as well as equipping for spiritual growth, theological education, and training for ministry and mission.
