Made Alive in Christ:
A Life Transformed by God's Love, Mercy, and Grace
In this powerful sermon from Ephesians 2:1-10, Pastor Garrett Sims explores the incredible truth of being made alive in Christ through God's love, mercy, and grace. Salvation is not just about escaping death, but embracing a new life in Christ.
1. The Reason: God's Love, Mercy, and Grace (Ephesians 2:4-6)
Our transformation begins with God’s love—He reaches down to save us. His mercy means we don't get what we deserve, and His grace gives us what we didn’t earn: forgiveness, new life, and the hope of eternity with Him.
2. The Result: A Changed Heart and a New Home (Ephesians 2:5-7)
Being made alive in Christ brings a changed heart and a new home. We are transformed from death to life, and we’re promised an eternal place with God in Heaven.
3. The Recipient: You!
You are the recipient of this incredible gift. No matter your past, God's love, mercy, and grace are available to you—inviting you into a new life in Christ.
Our Response: Surrender to God’s Glory
The only fitting response to God’s love and glory is surrender. When we truly grasp what God has done for us, we are called to live in worship and continual surrender to His will.
As we reflect on this message, remember: we are made alive in Christ because of His love, mercy, and grace. Let that truth shape our lives today and forever.
