Word of Encouragement from Marsha Henderson, Children’s Ministry Volunteer
During the last 7 months our world as we know it has been turned upside down and inside out … there was no longer any normality in life!!! Some days it seemed very hard to find any joy. In these months God has reminded me to CHOOSE JOY. So, every day I would find something to celebrate that honored God!! I allowed Him to fill me with His joy and His strength. We are surrounded every day with reminders of His presence in our lives.
You can find it in the beautiful sky, the fragrance of a flower, or birds in the air, in hearing the laughter of a child, or being with family and friends!! Take the time to find something in your life, even if it is small and simple, and honor God. Find your joy in Him. As Nehemiah said, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Today find something to celebrate.
