Who He is … changes who I am.
Jesus said, ‘When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He …’

The Idea:
Jesus names Himself ‘Son of Man’
He names himself this to show us that God has come to us in flesh, and to show us what we can be in our own flesh.
Jesus – Son of Man
1. It means He came to serve
"For the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve"

2. It means He came to suffer
"‘[Jesus] began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things’"

3. It means He came to reign
"... And behold, on the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, …"
