This month, we’re learning about compassion which is caring enough to do something about someone else’s need. You can’t show compassion without caring about others. So, why should we care for others? Because God cares for us! God is faithful and full of love and wants us to share that love with others. Just like Jesus shared God’s love with other people during his time here on earth. When we choose kindness and compassion, or when we are slow to get angry, we help others see the difference Jesus has made in our own life.
