7 Pursuits to Raise Your Level of Joy:
Get deeply connected to Christ as the sourceof your life.
Pursue peace in every possible relationship
Get free from chronic complaint and comparison
Get rid of selfish anger
Get gratitude
The Idea:
There is a principle that unites the last two pursuits, and really all of them.
If you want a life of fully developing joy, then you must learn to live a life that is NOT about you.
Seven Joy Pursuits
6. Get Kindness and Generosity Ingrained in You
“3 Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man.”
Proverbs 3:3-4 (NASB1995)
7. Find Out Why You Were Created – and then live in it.
“For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever!”
Romans 11:36 (NLT)
“Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 (NASB1995)
The Ultimate Purpose of Your Life
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,”
Romans 8:29 (KJV)
